How to Use It

1. Add your class
Paste the class list and mark anyone absent for the day. You can keep them on the saved class list without including them in the current round.

2. Start the round
Start the round and the class is put into a random order. Each student appears once before the cycle is complete.

3. Pick the next student
Pick one student at a time. When everybody in the round has been chosen, the class is mixed again for a new cycle.

Built for participation across a whole class
A normal one-off name draw can pick the same pupil again while others are still waiting. This picker works through the class without repeats, so every student marked present gets one turn before the names are mixed again.
Example: a class of 28 with two absences
Save the 28-name class list, mark the two absent pupils out for the day and begin with the remaining 26 students. Each picked student stays out for the rest of that round. After all 26 have had a turn, the class is mixed again for a new round. The absent pupils stay on the saved class list for another day.
A fair cycle does not mean a fixed order
The purpose is to prevent repeats before everyone has had a turn, not to create a predictable rota. The order changes when a new cycle begins. That keeps selection random while still giving the class a simple fairness rule that can be explained clearly: one turn each before anybody appears again.
