Define the possible numbers before generating
Your minimum, maximum, decimal places and repeat setting decide which numbers can appear. A simple whole-number range such as 1 to 100 is straightforward. If you use decimals, the number of possible values changes with the number of decimal places you choose.
Example: five unique numbers from 1 to 50
Set the minimum to 1, maximum to 50, quantity to 5 and keep whole numbers with unique results on. You will get five different numbers. If unique results are off, the same number can appear more than once.
Check that the range is large enough
Unique mode needs enough different values for the number you ask for. A range from 1 to 3 cannot give you five different whole numbers. With decimals, the number of choices depends on how many decimal places you allow. Sorting only changes how the finished numbers are shown.
