More Useful Guidance
Every available date gets one chance
The generator picks whole calendar days. Every date inside your chosen range gets the same chance unless you have turned weekends off. That makes it useful for classroom exercises, practice schedules and example dates without involving a real calendar.
Example: three weekdays next month
Set the first and last day of the month, enable weekdays only and request three unique dates. Saturdays and Sundays are removed first, then three different dates are selected from the remaining weekdays. Public holidays are not automatically excluded because those vary by country and sometimes by region.
Think about holidays separately
Weekday does not always mean working day. If a generated date must avoid bank holidays, school closures or company shutdowns, those dates need to be checked separately or removed from a custom list. The built-in weekend filter only knows the day of the week, not whether a particular date is a holiday where you are.
Date Generator vs Time Generator
Random Date Generator chooses calendar days from a date range. Random Time Generator chooses clock times from a time window. Use them separately when you only need one part, or combine the two results when you want a made-up date and time for an exercise or example.
How the Result Is Chosen
Fair selection
Every date that fits your range and weekend setting has the same chance.
Privacy
The tool does not need access to your calendar, and the dates stay on the device.
