Random Time Generator
Pick a Random Time from a Clock Window
Generate a random time from your own start, end and interval. A 15-minute setup, for example, only returns sensible quarter-hour times.
Quick Setup
Set the time range and interval, choose 12- or 24-hour display, then generate.
How to Use It
-
1. Choose the time window
Set the earliest and latest time, and use the overnight option if the range carries on past midnight.
-
2. Choose the interval
Choose the interval: every minute for maximum variety, or larger gaps such as 5, 15 or 30 minutes.
-
3. Generate the time
Generate the time and choose 12-hour or 24-hour display. Changing the display does not change the time that was picked.

More Useful Guidance
Intervals turn a time window into real slots
A time window such as 09:00 to 17:00 can include every minute, or you can use steps such as 15 or 30 minutes. The interval decides which times are available before the pick happens, so the results can match the kind of schedule you are making.
Example: a random 30-minute appointment slot
Set the window from 09:00 to 17:00 with a 30-minute interval. The available results become 09:00, 09:30, 10:00 and so on. Every valid slot has the same chance. Switching between 12-hour and 24-hour display changes how the time is written, not which slot was selected.
Overnight windows need a clear rule
A window from 22:00 to 02:00 crosses midnight, so it cannot be treated like an ordinary same-day range. Enable the overnight option when the end time belongs to the following day. Without that rule, an end time earlier than the start can be ambiguous or invalid.
Time Generator vs Date Generator
Use Random Time Generator when you need a clock time and Random Date Generator when you need a calendar day. You can also use one result from each when you need a made-up date and time for an exercise or example.
How the Result Is Chosen
Fair selection
Every time slot created by your range and interval has the same chance.
Privacy
The tool does not need access to your calendar or location.
